    I animated a cog rotating from 0 degrees to 359 degrees over 30 frames and it starts going the correct direction but then it starts going the opposite direction. If i stretch the animation out over 90 frames it correctly animates the 359 degrees. I get the feeling its an optical illusion. i posted a movie below

    Yes, it’s a result of the wheel’s rotation speed versus the fps of the animation. You’ll see the same effect in movies where a car’s wheels or a plane’s propellers seem to reverse direction.
