Very new to AE and can’t figuire out how to speed up the animations in text! I’ve played around with the “start” “end” “offset” button but it only ends up messing it up.

    Thanks in advance!

click on the layer then press “u” to reveal all keyframes … you can then drag the keyframes closer together to speed things up …. or further apart to extend the animation ….

Select the text layer that you’ve animated, then hit “UU” to reveal anything that was done to the layer.

A text preset like “Center Spiral” reveals keyframes for rotation and opacity, and if you slide the right hand keyframes closer to the leftmost keyframes then the animation will be shorter.

Some of the presets are driven by expressions, then you have to read them and figure out what’s going on. But most use slide-able keyframes, so set them closer for a faster animation.

    thanks guys, it worked!

i was confused with one of the presets that had all these rotations and whatnot and wouldn’t stop when i wanted it to, but it’s all good now.
