  animated menu auto pauses

  hey all, i’ve got an animated video (made in after effects 6.0) that i’m using for an encore menu. the video and sound for the menu are converted to dvd formats; m2v and mp2. for some reason, when playing the dvd on any dvd player (software or standalone) the menu pauses when the buttons finish moving around and you have to hit play on the remote to resume menu functions. it’s as if the dvd player swithces to still picture mode when the motion stops. the buttons are only on the background video and i’m using sub layers for highlighting. in preview mode, the menu runs smooth and there is no pause. is there a way around this?
