How is everyone doing the 3D stroke animations that you are seeing on TV where lines move across 3 dimensions and around live action subjects? 3D Stroke by trapecode does it somewhat but I’m looing for more. Any tips?

You have at least two options (probably more):
    1- Cinema 4d with Sketch & Toon
    2- XSI

Psyop, the firm that did those Honda Odessey commercials, used XSI according to an aquaintance who worked there.

Here‘s a great tutorial from Dean Velez.

Like we all know, Ayato does some very good looking things.

And here‘s one from the great David Zandnerg 🙂

    Hope that helped.
