    Animated Illustrator Brush

    I created a curvy brush stroke in Illustrator with rough edges.

    I’d like to take curvy brush into After Effects and animate a camera flying along the path (like a POV of someone driving over it) and have the stroke painted on as the camera moves forward…

    I’ve animated the camera and the light with the brush’s positions, but I can’t find any ways to have the brush paint on.

    I tried revealing the Illustrator brush stroke with a stroke generated in After Effects, but the width of the generated stroke only goes to 50, making it possible, but very limited and not ideal.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Howzabout duplicating the effect and offsetting one copy so that you get the entire brush stroke.
