Animated 3d Diamond
I need to make a ‘realistic’ 3d animated diamond. The 3d part is not so much a problem, adding the realism of the light, transparency & light sparkle is. In order to have it as real as it gets I need to obtain a prism effect with a light source behind the 3d object. If anyone has ever tried this and is willing to share his experience, I’d be glad to hear your feeback.

If you want to obtain a prism effect ,I think you can apply a displacement Map effect to the background of the diamond,that can imitate the refraction of light.
