animate text object to a path
Hi,
I want to animate an object (basically a period and some text) along a path (drawn with pen tool in Photoshop) which represents the outline of a racetrack. So the end result being as the video (onboard footage) plays, the dot&text move along the path, showing where the car is on the track. (obviously the keyframes are put in manually)
Is this possible in Premiere? Or is AfterEffects/a plugin needed?
Any help would be much appreciated.

That’s going to be an After Effects project, since Premiere doesn’t support masks. In After Effects, simply create a mask, then copy the position keyframes to the object you want to animate; you may also have to check thr orient to path option, that will depending on the version you are using.
