animaiting pictures (TIFF) without flickering?
so i am animaiting those still pictures of 3d renderings in AE. nothing fancy – just changing the position. now when my objects move they are constantly flickering/the imagige isn’t really smooth. i hope you know what i mean. maybe it has to do with the shutter speed. ive no idea.
can anyone tell me what to do so my animated pictures move SMOOTHLY without any flickering/flashing? thanks

Have you enabled motion blur [link], both for the layer and for the comp?

yes i’ve got motion blur enabled for the layer. i am not too sure about enabling motion blur for the comp itself.
i don’t see any check box for turning that on / off in my comp. all i see is motion blur under the Advanced tab and its set it 180° and -90°

From the doc that I linked to above:
You enable motion blur for each layer individually, and you also determine whether the motion blur is rendered for previews and final output. Use the Enable Motion Blur composition switch
at the top of the Timeline panel to enable or disable motion blur rendering for previews. Modify the render settings in the Render Queue panel to enable or disable motion blur rendering for final output.Walter Soyka

Also, if you need more blur, you can increase the shutter angle. The default setting for the shutter phase as negative one-half of the shutter angle helps keep a natural look. Of course, if you crank the shutter angle, “natural look” might go out the window.
