The hosts on the Basics forum are NOT newbies, there are some excellent hosts there who could just as easily host here on the main AE forum. Why they are there is that they tend to not mind answering the same question over and over.

We like to keep the signal higher here on the main forum, so please address newer user questions on the After Effects Basics forum.
