    Hi,
I’m building a (for me) complex project in Vegas Pro 8 which involves a number of audio tracks (voice and music) as well as video and title tacks etc. Occassionally I need to insert short video and/or audio clips at various positions along the time line.
To do this I CNTRL/CLICK the first clip on each track to the right of my insert point and use ‘Select Events to End’ to create the space to insert my clip and then use the same process to close the gap after inserting the new clip.
Problem is, as the project expands along the time line to accommodate the inserted clips, all my volume envelope control points that I have added along the way in the various music tracks (e.g. dropping music volume for a voice over segment) remain fixed in their original position and therefor no longer in their proper postion within the audio clip. Hopes this makes some sense to someone.
Can I lock the volume control points in place so they move in unison with an audio clip? Thanks in anticipation. Bob

On a default toolbar, the eighth icon from the right (13th from the left) is Lock Envelopes to Events. Is your enabled or disabled?

Rob, the icon was DISABLED!! Now works fine. So much to learn, so little time…. Thank you very much for your help. Bob
