  • Anchor points in Pro Titler?

    Hello Everyone,

I’m doing some simple animation with titles I’ve created with the Titler in Premiere Pro CS5.

Many of the animations simply have to do with increasing the scale of the title across the length
    of the clip.

If I’ve placed my title in the center of the clip, all is fine. It expands equidistantly right and left, above and below.

However if I place a title, let’s say, on the left hand side of a the frame, it appears to expand with respect to the original anchor point at the center of the clip. What this means is that the title expands to the left and up.

Is there a way to adjust the anchor point of a title so that it resides in the center of the “title bounding box” and that when upscaled, everything expands with respect to that point, no mater where the title is located in the frame?

    Thanks.

    Titles have anchor point too.
    Select title in timeline
Hit the transform icon or highlight the word Motion in the Effect Controls.
The bounding box and the anchor point appear.
Now you can set the anchor point as you like by changing the achor point properties.
