hi did not see a final cut express forum so if i could kindly ask a few questions.
i am working with clips made in after effects 5.5 set up and rendered out with lossless compression..the format is NTSC dv widescreen 720×480..I have rendered out those clips and selected to crop the final output at 720×480 widescreen…can I import those clips into final cut express 3.5 like that and expect to recieve a final render output of widescreen footage from FCE…do I need to choose ntsc dv anamorphic from the project settings menu prior to starting a new project? anyone able to explain anomorphic settings for me and if I do want widescreen output what should my settings be while creating footage for FCE it will all be in standard definition at this time and I know true 16:9 is not achievable unless its high definition…any help would be greatly appreciated
    thanks
    chris

720 x 480 is standard aspect ratio for DV. 16 x 9 is anamorphic. If your source footage is 16×9 use anamorphic, if your source footage is standard, use 720 x 480. Good luck!
