Hey, I’m borrowing a DVX which I shot a family member’s wedding with. I’ll be compiling a DVD for them on my Mac in Final Cut, most likely. But the main question I have is, does the DVX have analog in? I need to get ahold of a Hi8 camera and hook it into the DVX to digitize the old format into one I can include on the DVD (an uncle shot some Hi8 footage everyone wants as well).

    Thanks!

Sure you switch to VCR mode and feed through the s-video or RCA inputs. Press the record buttons on the top of the camera.

Wonderful, thank you… I shall now try to track down a Hi8 to feed the footage into the DVX.

    Thanks again!

Hopefully track it down and put it out of its misery. 🙂
