I posted a similar message in Decklink that I need to be able to set capture levels for video and I can’t find any way to do so. Does anyone know something I don’t?
I got a Beta recorded from FCP that had the pedestal set below baseline I couldn’t get teh captured video to play back clean.

    Hi Charlie,

PPro doesn’t have any analog video control as it doesn’t control any analog ingest. It would just accept it from the BM card.

More to the point…wouldn’t you try to recover the pedestal using the playback deck’s TBC controls to change the video upon playback? Once it’s in the pipe, it would have to be adjusted again. Since a Beta deck already has a TBC that you need to pass through…would that be an option for you?

If I had been the one purchasing this deck, first I would have purchased a better deck, second if that had not been possible I would have purchased the remote TBC controller. Since I was not the purchaser, I haven’t had either option, soooooooooo I am trying to find a work around. I think you answered my question tho.

    Thank you, Tim

I am trying to use an ATI HDTV Wonder Capture card, but neither Premiere Pro nor Sony Vagas will recognize it; Windows Movie maker recognizes it fine. All three are on the same computer, and I am trying to settle on one good one. Can Premiere Pro recognize an analog capture card? Is Windows Movie Maker grabbing the card even when it is turned off?
I hope this isn’t a dumb question, but I have been trying for days to get these two Expensive programs to work.
