  Analog audio 5.1 monitoring with K2 and FCP5?

  What suggestions would people have for monitoring 5.1 using the K2 with the upcoming FCP5’s 5.1 support?

  It is simply enough to take the G5’s toslink fiber to an 5.1 receiver?

  Would there be a offset against picture, and can that be adjusted in the g5/K2?

  Or would it better to get an AES/EBU converter to analog and go into a analog mixer for

  monitoring the surround mix?

  I’m just converting over to K2, and and trying to use the $300 I might not spend on the Kbox (at least right away)

  on an audio solution.
