    This evening I tried to render a 60 minute VMS HD Platinum 10 file to .MP4. Continue to receive error messages “An error occurred while creating the media file. An invalid argument was specified.”

    The loop region is specified for rendering, and I have selected ‘render loop region only.” No other information. See attached render settings screen shot.

    Ready to scream after editing this for 10 hours.

    You are using the Default Template. Try selecting one of the other templates and see if you get the same error.

    Also, another person just had a similar error and it was being caused by them having DivX installed. So if you have DivX or any codec-paks (like K-Lite) I would try uninstalling them and re-installing Vegas and see if that helps.
