an addon to Final Cut for detection of scenes
Hi,
Have anybody tried this tool? Scene Detector detects scenes in any clip inside Final Cut XML project and exports XML with markers added for each scene.
It seems to be released several days ago..

i just tried it and i’m in love with it already!
i;ve been looking for a decent scene detection app for years,
and this is the best & simplest yet.thanks for the tip-off,

I was given a demo of “CatDV” (https://www.squarebox.co.uk/) some weeks ago at a trade fair and was amazed at the way it can accurately do scene detection as well as a whole raft of other features. Its on my shopping list for the very near future.
its certainly worth downloading the trial version.
