I have 2 types of RAM that will run in my system. Need to know what will be MOST beneficial for VEGAS? Plz
    16 GB DDR3 PC3-10666
    8 GB DDR3 PC3-12800

My Understanding is the 12800 is faster Speed but I have double the amount of 10666.

I looked in bios I think my mother board does 1333mhz for ram.

    Thank U

You’re not going to see any difference between those RAM speeds. Plus, you have to enable XMP in the BIOS. You’re better off with 16gb of RAM.

There will be no significant speed difference between either.

go for the 16 GB, then setup a virtual RAM disk for your Vegas projects, watch editing and rendering speed increasing ten-fold.
