    Looks like from the announcement that AMD is sponsoring Vegas at NAB, see excerpt below and notice the presentation of Douglas Spotted Eagle !!!

    I wonder if the “new features” they mention could be OPENCL support, otherwise I don’t see why they would team up with AMD.

    Anybody else thinks the same ?

    Thanks, looking forward to Monday, hope they have Mercury playback like features for AMD cards.

    I would prefer Mercury playback on nvidia cards like Mercury already does, but if they made a deal to do the same kind of thing with ATI cards it would definitely get me to switch to ATI/AMD.

    Why would AMD doing the same as NVIDIA then cause you to switch? If its just the same feature what else does AMD/ATI have to offer that would make you switch?
