    AMA Relinking/Uprez Trouble

    I’m running Avid version 8.5.3 and having an issue relinking to my AMA media.

    I initially AMA’d the media and transcoded down to 14:1. Now I’m trying to relink to that AMA’d media and it’s not relinking. The AMA clip is seeing the link, but the unlinked 14:1 clip won’t link to it.

    Any advice?

    What steps are you taking? Typically what I do is duplicate the sequence, so that the original is linked to the 14:1 footage still. Then open all the bins with the AMA footage, click on my sequence, and choose to RELINK, and make sure that I choose the ALL OPEN BINS option is checked.
