    AMA link to ProRes 4444 shows up as Matte Key files?

    Hi,

    I’m very new to Media Composer 7 and I’m doing a switch from FCP/Premiere Pro.

    I have a bunch of ProRes 4444 MOV files that I’m trying to AMA link to. The problem is, that once I link to the files they show up as these “Matte Key” files instead?

    I can’t edit them or anything, what am I doing wrong?

    You need to go to your Import settings (not AMA) and make sure you set alpha to none. This will be addressed in an update to at least be in the AMA settings, and not import…
