  • AMA link to a NAS folder or volume?

I can link to, and import files fine. Is there a way to get MC 7 to link to a Volume, or a folder on a volume? (OS X server, just plain old NAS) Seems like it should, am I missing something? Thanks!

The “Volume” Avid is looking for when you tell it to Link to AMA Volume is a complete card backup from a tapeless camera. A camera “volume,” or “tape.” It means “link to this complete tapeless backup.” It won’t work with a hard drive volume. If you have separate files, you can AMA link to them as LINK TO FILES…and select multiple files. If they are scattered, you’ll have to do location by location.

Thanks. 🙂 They changed the menu a bit in 7 so I thought maybe the behavior had changed as well…
