Activity Forums Avid Media Composer AMA Ghosting?

    Hi Everyone,

    I was just in the middle of running some tests. AMA/transcode vs. direct import of both RGB and 709 levels when I discovered mysterious Ghosting on the AMA footage, but not any of the direct import footage. Check it out, any ideas as to why? It’s all the same Canon SLR H.264 23.98 footage. The AMA image is top right, 709 import on the right and RGB import on the bottom. DNxHD 115 footage.

    I don’t know what’s causing it…

    It looks like it’s displaying both fields. Could you step through and see if it has the same sort of look on field 2? (Open the effect palette, move, step forward 1 field.)
