    Hi,

I’ve been recently pulled on to a part-time gig as an AE for a TV show in development, basically overseeing the workflow of getting QTs into a project for an offline edit and prepping for online.

I spoke to the guys doing the online edit (my full-time employers) and they want everything that this guy has AMA linked already in at DNx220, so that’s what he’s going to edit in (mixed with tape-based offline media that was brought in at 10:1, and we’re just going to keep his file based stuff high-rez and uprez the offline stuff when the edit is done).

Unfortunately, I wasn’t brought on from the very beginning, and the man in charge has begun editing with AMA linked files already. Is there an easy/seamless way of re-linking the AMA stuff used in the sequence to the newly transcoded DNx220 footage?

Thanks for your help and input.

Try selecting the sequence and choosing Relink, then in the bottom of the Relink window choose to relink to a specific resolution and pick DNxHD220, or whatever the transcoded footage is.
