am I the only unlucky one with Davinci 9?
I know two systems, one of them is a Mac (Mac pro 4.1, GT120, GTX285), the other one is a PC (Supermicro, GTX680).
The Mac is my own, and I didn’t wanted to upgrade until I was completely sure everything works as stable as it did with version 8 – I had absolutely no hiccups with version 8. So I waited till the 9.0.4 update popped up. After the update it messed up one of my databases but I didn’t care that much. I started using the working one, today I imported a new job, the usual Alexa source files, and even without correction -only the REC709 LUT – it couldn’t play it back real-time. I had to go back to version 8 to be able to finish the job.
On the PC it shows a lot of strange things, like when working with r3d footage, after hitting play the ungraded source file flashes in, just for a frame. The other annoying thing is that if I use Render cache, the rendered media doesn’t have the same black level as the original files… strange.Anyway, this is not a rant, I’m THANKFUL for blackmagic for this product, I just wanted to know if I’m the only one to have multiple bugs at version 9.0.4.

Try having qualifier tab selected during playback (as opposed to window or curves tab)
