    on the text animator I think it would help me a lot if it said ease start and ease end. Im always jiggling with the control trying to figure out which is which and ive been doing this for years.

    yeah, that makes little sense for me too. Plus the fact that it doesn’t seem to react quite like a keyframe’s influence.

    Once I get things set up I’ll save the animation to a preset and name it properly so I don’t have to fuss with that anymore.

    I would recommend not using any of the easing complexities of text animators and use Paul Slemmer’s preset here:

    it will make things much easier for text animator’s easing and so much more

    I dont understand type array you suggested…it does not seem to do anything. The tutorial is not much help either…what is it supposed to do?

    It will create an influence slider for your animators that will give you much control over easing. Bounce, inertia you name it.

    it still does not seem to do anything but add a slight fade in at the start.nothing else changes..not the speed not the ease…nothing

    You still have animators but they are in the typearray hierarchy. Add the ones you need and the influence will include them. Opacity and position are there by default so there is a movement and fade. You can change or delete them.

    well…nothing happens when i use it.. ..with an animator on my text and adding text array, text array does not seem to do anything

    okay…at least on your project i can see it kinda actually does something…but not much..and i cant tell how you applied it to work with your current text animator.. but I dont think its worth it to find out
