I have several audio clips in my timeline that I have balanced against one another, but now would like to boost the overall volume of them as a group a touch.

What is the easiest way to achieve this in Media Composer? In FCP7 I would probably have just nested them and adjusted the level of the nest accordingly. I am not familiar with “nests” existing in Avid (though fully expect I could be totally wrong on that), so what would an alternative method be?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Adam

Audio Mix tool – you can boost entire channel using in/out marks and the hamburger menu, you can gang channels as well for functions.

There is also in MC 7 a “Master fader” for control over the entire timeline.

If it’s just a section, select the necessary tracks, set and in and out…then at the top of the mix tool, in the hamburger menu, select Adjust Pan/Vols In/Out. You can raise or lower then entire section a desired amount.

Thanks both. Master Fader worked great this time around.
