    Hi,

I need to export a 40 min video and send to colleague for checking and it will end up on the web for public viewing…

I’m using h.264 as ive heard this is the best format for small file size but good quality

Is there an alternative codec to h.264 as i’m suffering from its notorious gamma issues?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I think the gamma issues are a QuickTime problem, and not an H.264 problem per se.

So could you add a gamma adjustment filter in compressor or other compression software to fix your gamma shift, and stay with h.264?
