Hello I’m using AE 5.5. I want to slo mo my footage in a way that is hopefully going to fill the in-betweens better than just time remapping. I have FE Time, FE Time blend fx, and FE wide time available, along with time difference and time displacement. Is there any place in the effects menu other than “time” I should be looking?

    thx

    John

It sounds like Time Warp is what you’re looking for. Check the online Help (which is downloadable) for the mechanics.

What version of AE are you using? I think CS5 and older has Time Warp.
If you don’t have Time Warp, you could use Twixtor (a 3rd-party plugin — you’ll need to pay for it)

When you slow down your footage, you need to choose how to blend the missing frames. You can choose nothing, frame blending, or interpolation. Try them out.
If none are good enough, check out Twixtor.
