Alpha Channel What’s Going on???!!!!
This is probably really simple, but I’m having the hardest time. I’ve been given a graphic in a psd file, and I have to separate each element to give to my editor so he can animate it in Final Cut Pro.
There’s a Freeze Frame from the footage, there’s a color correction over the footage, there are two layers of Red and Blue bars, like a flag, for a layer, and then two layers of text. I can’t figur out how to make the alpha channel. I created the alpha channel, but all it did was make black cover everything. I know I’m missing a step somewhere.
Also, when I bring the layers into FCP as a psd, the layers are not the same size and seem out of order. Not sure what’s going on. Having the hardest time creating a simple alpha channel.
