Try changing the render settings to “straight” from “premultiplied”.

You have to tell FCP which alpha channel render you used. In the browser, scroll to the column that says alpha channel and set it to Black or Straight. AE defaults to premultiplied with black, so if you didn’t change the render settings in AE, then choose ‘Black’ in FCP. If the movie is already in your timeline, you will have to change it there too by right clicking on the movie and then choosing item properties > format and choose ‘Black’ for Alpha. If you have rendered a straight alpha, choose straight. After you change it in the browser, you can simply replace the one in the timeline as well.
