    Hello there, how is everyone?
I’m having a slight issue: i have taken a logo, made the parts of it that i don’t want to be seen black, and the parts that i want to be seen white. Afterwards, i have activated the alpha channel and uploaded the logo image. The background is indeed now transparent but the problem is that the surface of the object to which i have applied the material with the logo is now also transparent.

I have provided two pictures in hopes that it might help for better understanding of my situation:

The windows logo is what i want to put there, but i don’t want the entire surface of the object to be transparent.

Could anyone please provide me with an answer to my dilemma?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and help me 🙂

You can do this with two materials. I see you’ve applied a gray material to the entire keyboard as a group, and that’s fine. So, now apply that same material to the key with the logo on it, and also the logo material. You will then have the gray on the whole keyboard, and the gray and the logo on that one key also. Make sure the gray material on the key is before the logo material and it should work fine. Cinema applies multiple materials from left to right (the order in the object manager), so the gray material on that key will be first, then the logo will appear on top.
