All transitions mysteriously revert to default cross dissolve
Hi,
I’ve had this problem a couple of times at least on a couple of systems. both 6.0.2 I think.
At some point – only I don’t necessarily notice straight away – all the transitions in a sequence revert back to basic 1sec cross dissolves. I loose all my 3rd party dissolves and anything else that isn’t the default. The only solution appears to be to go back and change them manually, or revert back to an earlier cut. Bothh of which have cost me quite a bit of time.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a known issue? Is there anything I can do to reduce the likelyhood of it happening again ? Its mighty annoying.

You are the only person who has reported this issue Simon to the best of my knowledge. Have you tried trashing prefs?

I haven’t tried trashing prefs because its always too late when I relaise its happened and the transitions have already reverted. Thing is its happened to me twice on two seperate machines. The only thing I can think of that linked the two incidences is that I was using my personalised keyboard settings but I can’t see what that would have to do with it unless they could be come corrupt and cause problems…..

Trashing prefs won’t help you once the change has happened, but might prevent it happening in the future.
