I just upgraded to CS3 and 3.1.1 drivers on my Xena LH system, and all seems well (so far), but I noticed when I import into Premiere Pro CS3, the file type dialog box defaults to “All Supported Media.”

The problem is that in that mode, NONE of my AJA QuickTime files (*.mov) appear as “supported media.” To see them, I need to set the file type to “All Files”–an annoying extra step since Premiere seems to default to “All Supported Media” every time the import file dialog box pops-up.

(In fact, no WAV files appear in the options, either, when “All Supported Media” is the selected file type.)

So, why are my QuickTimes not appearing in the “All Supported Media” mode? And second, why does Premiere think these files aren’t supported? They play fine in my projects.

    Thanks.

Nevermind. For some reason today, MOVs are now showing up in the open dialog boxes.

I think this is nothing but an annoyance in the importer. I often have to click to the filetype I’m seeking and it shows up even though it does not show under “all supported files”.

I’ve never had an issue with any of those files in use however.
