When I capture my clips, ALL straight lines appear jagged and crooked. From the edges of tables to car grills to power lines. Especially power lines. I shot a lot of clips in a location with a lot of power lines and it just looks really ugly. Even car grills (that has straight lines on it) look bad too.

Objects that have label with text on it also look jagged.

    Anybody ever encountered this?

I edit with Avid Xpress Pro. On the Panasonic dvx100b it looks ok on the viewfinder but once in Avid it looks really horrible. any help?
    thanks.

    thanks.

Have no clue but I suspect there’s a setting somewhere in Avid to show full quality at 100% or output to NTSC monitor- that would be the proper place to judge image quality.
