    Hi guys

on very rare occasions the gaps in my timeline turn white when i export the footage out.
the reason i have gaps is because i want black there anyway. i know i can sort this issue out by using slugs, but i prefer to leave gaps, as i find it easier to change if i need to. (and looks cleaner)

any ideas why this is happening. like i said its only ever happened to me twice.

    thanks

You probably inadvertently changed your canvas settings. Check the little pulldown menu in the canvas. Make sure the background is black and not white or checkerboard.
