All acceptable File Formats?

It’s on the apple.com marketing site for FCP suite, “almost anything that moves that isn’t proprietary” is the simple answer.
But that’s only half the story. There are tons of after market and third party filters and cards to make lots of other formats possible.
Easier to ask if your specific format is usable.
