I would like to feed 3 or 4 Canon Vixia HG20’s into the ATEM Television Studio and use Wirecast to switch between them just as if they were on separate cards within my computer. Please advise.

    Hi,
you can’t do what you need.
ATS is a standalone hardware switcher, not a computer card.
You can control ATS from the computer using the provided software or using the sdk, but you can’t use wirecast to control atem.
You can use wirecast to live stream or record output video coming from the ATM.

So, what would I use to do green screen/virtual sets if I can’t use Wirecast?

You would either need an ATEM 1 M/E or 2 M/E and do the chroma key in that, or separate video capture cards for each camera. The TVS is a switcher, not a multi-port capture card.
