    well,

I just want to thank AJA for putting in the SD to SD anamorphic in the latest driver release. This is a major value added feature and it also proves that AJA listens to it’s cutomers. I suggested this feature in a post some time ago and VIOLA, it shows up.

    Why is this great?

    1. no more rendering of 4×3 versions in FCP saving us all disk space.
    2. Monitor while you edit.
    3. Saves you from buying a device that would cost about 750.00 for monitoring.

    WAY TO GO AJA!
Excellent product and always thinking of your customers needs.

    David

    Peace and Love 🙂

Actually I requested this feature AND sent a box of dark chocolates to Nick Rashby and Steve Barsky so I’m not really sure if it was your very kind request or the chocolates that actually got this feature included. 🙂

    Hey,
Ensemble Designs used to send ME chocolate whenever I helped them complete a sale. With this mindset, I should have AJA have the chocolate tractor trailer back up to my house.

Anamorphic SD to realtime crop? Nope. I don’t recall this feature ever being there on my system and I ran all the versions right up until the very last update. Mixed formats in the same timeline, sure, but not a feature like this.

    Ok.

SO now I know that it takes chocolat and not just a nicely worded kind request. 🙂

    Thanks guys,

    David

We could start the AJA Chocolate Fund. Everybody chip in $5 and we just keep sending another box of chocolates each month. My momma always said Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what improvements those engineers can make when they’re hopped up on chocolate!

    Walter –
I hate this idea. There is a very good chocolate shop in Grass Valley. It should be a new AJA policy that anyone who registers their AJA product with AJA properly, should receive a FREE box of Chocolate from AJA. The hell with free firmware upgrades – I want candy !
