    Hi..

    Love the Xena card. Everything working great other than export to tape. I have an older Sony BVW40. Capture and deck control is all fine. When I try to output to tape as an insert edit the deck prerolls back 5 sec as I preset then stops. Nothing further happens. If I try an assemble to tape it prerolls back then crashes straight in before the preroll time has elapsed. I also noticed the Xena status is greyed out as if it has gone offline or something and occasionally says not available. Can anyone help??

    Adding DV support has been a winner guys!!

    Hi Andrew,

    Try deselecting all of the audio channels in the Export To Tape Dialog except A1 and A2 and that should let you perform the insert edit.

    I have the same problem (with LH), in PPRO as well in Machina with a digital betacam deck.
    In most cases I need to do an assemble edit (I assume “print to video” does assemble), which doesn’t allow me to deselect any audio channels. Has anybody ever done a proper assemble edit on a pre-coded tape in either Machina or PPRO with the Xena ?
