I was so happy to hear that! But after I tested it in After Effects CS6, the joy has gone. I have 8-core PC with 36 GB RAM, Quadro 6000, Windows 7 and very fast storage. And Kona 3 (Xena2). In Premiere, everything looks fine. But In Afre Effects CS6 I can´t preview the composition in realtime 25fps. I am getting something like 22fps maximum even with PAL (I tested every resolution). In Premiere, AJA Control pannel shows the right resolution, but for After Effects I see always 29.97 fps in control pannel for each project framerate from 24 to 60. Perhaps it should be so, I don´t know, but anyway, I can´t play the After Effects timeline in right speed. it drops.

    Ufff… anybody had more luck?

Hi Everyone, I suppose everyone is back from IBC…

I have a similar problems too. I currently have an Maximus workstation. I have SSD as system drive, 2nd SSD for Cache, SAS Direct attached storage, AJA Kona 3G, Firewire 800, Quadro4000 & a Tesla, 32G RAMs, Dual Xeons etc. Running with Windows 7 Profesional & Adobe CS6.

After installing the AJA Kona 3G onto my workstation, I’ve discovered that After Effects(AE) will not show AJA as a display options. Its perfectly fine on Premiere Pro(PP). Been trying to solve this for almost 4days now. Can anyone guide me through or point me into a direction where I can try to fix this. On a Mac, AE will show BMD card no problem, I am contemplating whether I should change it to BMD instead. This is my first attempt installing an AJA onto a PC.

If any of you guys out there knows of the problem or solution, would be great to share with everyone.

    Thank you
    Yussuf
