Does anyone know if you can use cinema preview at the same time as outputting to a broadcast monitor via component or sdi. I can switch from one to the other, but it would be really usefull if i could use both functions simultaniously.

    Thankyou in advance… Nick

I don’t think so since the output is determined by the Video Playback selection in the Audio/Video Settings.

Any reason why you want both to be active at the same time ?

Hi I thought as much… Never Mind.

The reson i would like to is becuase i have 3 19″ lcd’s for editing. I use two for the various windows in Final Cut and one for cinema preview while editing. Becuase the 3 monitors are all the same height, i find this is a really nice way to work. However it would be nice to have the broadcast monitor, and or the 26″ HD lcd running symoultaniously for either color correction or playing back the edit without having to go into the prefs and change the settings there.

    Thanks anyway.

    Kind Regards, Nick

You can get yourself a an AJA HDP and turn one of your SDI outs to DVI and feed a monitor that way.
