AJA Kona LS Capture Issues
Nice easy one…..
I am attempting to capture Betacam SX via SDI to Final Cut Pro 5.0.2 through AJA Kona LH (ver. 1.1.5) I am capturing at Uncompressed PAL 8 Bit 4:2:2 Video and 24 Bit, 48.00kHz embedded audio. At this point in time I am not receiving any embedded audio through SDI. I can receive analog audio via Analog audio Input on the Kona LH Breakout box. When captured the audio seems to be running at, at least, 200% speed but there is still lip sync with the picture which is running at the correct rate.
Any thoughts anyone?

Have you set up the AJA control panel softwre correctly to match your FCP settings? If not, check that you have the audio routed properly in your setup. Does FCP have an easy set up for BetaSX? I have not edited with it, so I guess I’m not being much help.
2nd give AJA tech support a call.
