AJA Kona LHI best setting analog capture

Hi everyone,

Its my first time using LHI (v14.0.0) to capture from analog source (VHS, Hi8…) using S-Video connection. I like to know what best settings for capturing? And does up-convert to 720P, 1080I, 1080SF have significant improvement?
Codecs available are:
1- MC-DV25 and DVCPRO50.
2- DN x HD: SQ, LB, HQX, HQ, 444 12bit, and 444.

Also, I encounter drops frames and smeared motions when up-converting to 1080SF (only 720P appeared perfect). They told because my mother board which is Intel DH67CL (LHI placed on monitor VGA card slot).
I wonder anyone know compatible mother board use Intel core I5 second/third generation processer and window 7?
(I don’t want invest on computers Aja listed at moment)
