    I have connected my sony hdv digital cassette recorder/player trough HDMI to AJA IoHD…
    I wan to capture with final cut pro, but nothing happens.
    I have selected in aja control panel aja iohd input – HDMI and i try some versions of HDMI protocol options- nothing…
    Some decisions?

    Welcome to the number one issue for HDMI capture.

    There are not any serial controls built into HDMI protocols, so there is NO WAY to control the camera without a separate connection to the camera for serial.
