  Aja ioHD freeze or stater on playback

  I’m working with a MBP 2.33 3GB Ram + eSATA Graid 2TB + AJA IoHD
  Timeline settings: 720×486 NTSC 29.97 Apple ProRes422
  When timeline is fully render it will play just smoothly, but when previewing with no full render it will freeze after a short playback, stater and even do a weird out of sync effect when playing through a simple real-time cross dissolve.
  I know I’m working with the minimal requirements published by AJA, but I’m not trying to playback 15 layers of video, they are barely 2 and only fading and cutting editing.
  Any suggestions?
