  AJA IO XT with Lacie thunderbolt eSata hub

  Does anyone have experience of or have knowledge of the following workflow? I’m starting to test using my i7 17″MBP thunderbolt to Lacie thunderbolt lacie esata hub. The esata hub takes eSata in from OWC Merc Elite 4TB raid 5 array and the hub daisy chains thunderbolt to the IO XT. Does anyone know in advance if this is problematic? Should I stop testing? I get better speed from eSata hub than Sonnett express34 esata card.
