    Hi everyone,

We are noticing that we are getting significant chroma reduction (about 20 percent) when capturing video using component inputs and aja iohd. We captured from 2 different sources a dvcpro deck and a beta sd deck and on both occasions we are getting serious, unwanted chroma reduction. We searched our settings but couldn’t find anything…

We are working on leopard, macpro octo 3,2ghz, 10gb ram, and final cut latest version…

If anyone knows anything about this issue please let us know…

    BR

Make sure you have the analog video format in set to Component SMPTE instead of Component Beta.

Since by some strange coincident there is a 20 percent difference in the choma levels between the 2 formats.
