    Hello,
I’m running an SD-SDI signal into the I/O and Analog audio coming into the I/O. The lip sync is 7 frames off in FCP when I play it on the timeline. I watching it from the program window inside FCP and am listening to the audio via headphones directly from the Mac. So, I’m monitoring the stuff directly from the mac and am not using any external monitoring. I have already tried using the Aja control panel to set the audio delay but it does not seem to be making any difference. It is still 7 frames off. I am saving the Aja control panel settings. The owner’s manual does not have much other detail. Do I need to reboot the I/O or something else when setting the delay?

you cannot CANNOT monitor your audio from the MAC line audio output (the mini plug on the back of the MAC). YOU MUST monitor off of the XLR outputs of the AJA I/O HD. The MAC audio is not in sync.

Get a cheap audio mixer, take the XLR outputs of the I/o HD into the mixer, and use the headphone jack on the mixer to monitor your audio. You will be just fine.

thanks Bob. So if I export the video out of FCP to M4v the audio will be in sync?

Sorry, guess my last post didn’t make it up. I plan on hooking up speakers as you recommended.
