    Hey guys,

This might be a silly question, but I haven’t seen it on here and I figured I’d give it a go. I’m trying to capture a 480p video signal with our AJA IO HD over its component inputs, but the AJA keeps thinking it’s receiving a 1080i@29.97 signal. If I change the source to output at 480i, everything works fine and the AJA reads it as 525i@29.97.

The device outputting the signal is a Sony PSP, but I’ve had similar issues with the Nintendo Wii (but was always able to switch it to 480i instead of 480p). The PSP won’t push anything but the 480p signal out, so I’m kind of stuck on that front.

So, in short, is the AJA IO HD able to handle 480p signals? Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn’t find anything similar searching around.

    Thanks,
    Vinny

Just capture 525i and then after you capture, set your field dominance of your clips and timeline to ‘None’ and you will be fine.
